Shanghai Advanced Building Materials Mineral Wool Factory, a member of Shanghai Building Material (Group) General Company, lies in Qingpu Industry Park in Shanghai covering an area of 60,000 square meters approximately. Our company has more than 300 employees including about 40 engineers and technicians.

In 1986, Shanghai Advanced Building Materials Mineral Wool Factory introduced a full set of mineral-wool production line from Japan Nitto Boseki Co., Ltd.; and in 2002, we newly built up a production line reaching advanced national level. Plant total production capacity is more than 40,000 tons annually. Our company is No. 1 in respect of production capacity in China, and has kept No. 1 in production and sales volume in the same industry in China over a series of years. Our products have been sold to Japan, South Korea, Germany, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan area and other countries and regions. The export volume accounts for 40% or more of the total sales volume. Our company has various varieties and types of products mainly comprising of "Oriental Cherry" and "ABM" mineral wool thermal insulation slabs, mineral wool wire meshed and glass fiber cloth facing blankets, core material in color-coated steel sandwich panels, agricultural mineral wool products, fireproof mineral wool slabs, insulation pipe-section and granulated wool.

In 1998, Shanghai Advanced Building Materials Mineral Wool Factory passed the authentication of quality assurance system ISO9001. Our products fully comply with the technical standards of China, the US, Japan and European countries, and have been admitted or recommended to be used as insulating materials in various industries such as power, chemical and petrochemical industries. We have been awarded the title of "Energy Conservation Products in Shanghai". Our marine products have been recognized by EC, GL and CCS.

Shanghai Advanced Building Materials Mineral Wool Factory is capable of independently researching and developing products and manufacturing techniques. Our company has developed the first set of the drum type wool collectors in China, pendulum wool spreaders and other main manufacturing equipment through our own technology; and developed rock wool boards of high intensity, agricultural mineral wool products, marine waterproof mineral wool products, mineral wool lamellas, mineral wool acoustics insulation slabs and other special products which have filled up the gap in related fields in China.
